Slight color variation between SpecialMesh and Part

The fix is pretty simple: The color picker might give different values for the same chosen BrickColor. Not sure why, but double check the RGB values if you encounter this too.

Hi! I have a problem with color difference between parts. I knew this issue to exist with unions for as long as I remember building, but I didn’t notice this happening on meshes… until now…

Initially I thought it was happening because the wedge was upside down and the sun was falling at a different angle on it, but after rotating it the same way as the mesh is, I noticed it’s an actual color difference.

Wedge vs Wall mesh, both at an angle.
No, the texture on the lower side isn’t the fault. I removed it and the issue persisted…

Are there any fixes on it, besides just trying to manually edit the color until it looks right?

I don’t think there’s a color difference, it just look’s like shadows.

It is a color issue. The wedge is slightly yellowish. I checked for it to be the same BrickColor too.

Ignore the deleted part, that is indeed a shadow, and compare the 2 colors when the sun is hitting them.

Update: Honestly Roblox, why is the color picker giving different values for the same BrickColor?
