What are the tris? It may be too much tris.

Hello,

We are gonna need a little more information from you to solve your issue. Such as the following questions:

Did you export them as OBJ’s?
Are the normals inverted and is it just not showing up?
Do you have a picture of your model in blender?
Is the tris count under 10k?
Does it give an error message?

Okay, I suggest that you try this:

  1. Open studio
  2. Navigate to the Game Explorer window, found under view.
  3. Click the import button
  4. Select the OBJ files you want to import

That might work for you.

When you select Yes your model will be teleported to the location data that your object holds in Blender.

By the looks of it your location in Blender is (0, 0, 0), the default “Baseplate” thickness is 20 studs so i assume your object is inside it.

In the future, if you just want to import the object to the location of your current selected MeshPart, just select No on the location data prompt.

I don’t think that’s the case. In his last screenshot, the original meshpart is still there. If his mesh had imported successfully, the meshpart would’ve disappeared and his mesh would’ve loaded.

Here is my meshpart before importing my OBJ file:

And here is it after importing my OBJ file:

As you can see, the original meshpart is gone and has been replaced by my own mesh.

No thats not this thing.

I don’t suppose you can’t try it as an FBX file?

Hm, the only thing I can think of then is that there’s a problem with your file. After you’ve uploaded, the meshID is still empty. You might want to try to re-export your mesh from Blender. If that doesn’t work, send the blender file here and I will try to make it work.

I use Blender 2.79 and the Selection Only parameter for Wavefront (.obj) is disabled by default, if i don’t select the desired object when exporting it will export the entire scene. You on the other hand are using Blender 2.8 or up so this setting could be enabled by default now. If you don’t make a selection when exporting with Selection Only enabled you’ll be exporting nothing.

You know how I can check this? Because im not sure this enable or this auto-enabled.

Basically just click the export OBJ button and a menu should pop up asking you how you want to name your export with some export options.

It looks like this:

If the box “Selection Only” is unchecked, you will be exporting the whole scene (this includes possible cameras and lights), if that box is checked, you will only be exporting the object you have selected.

You have to click no.
