Small Render for fun

I made a small render of someone named JustMomma, and I’m wondering what some people might think? The flashlight is a free model, this model was made by an account named ModelMakerRBX.

sorry, just getting used to things.

You can actually move your post. Click the pencil next to the title and you’ll be able to move it! :slightly_smiling_face:

Already done, thanks.

Looks good! The only thing I can say is it’s way too bright. If you fixed that I think it could be really good!

Good luck on your future renders.

Thanks so much. You’re so nice

It’s alright, though the character looks very stiff. I’d suggest using a roblox rig to bend limbs to make the pose look more natural. A reference image would also help with this. Also to improve further, you could use an hdri for lighting, or emissions. And you can add bump mapping to the character to make the clothes look more realistic.

I’m guessing that you’re currently using ambient occlusion for your render with some pretty high settings. Ambient occlusion is actually really bad practice when it comes to lighting and usually doesn’t result in the best renders. I suggest you learn more about general lighting setups or learn about HDRIs (image based lighting).

Thanks so much, this was really accurate and will help a lot.

Like others have said the lighting is really bright, I would suggest learning on how to make lightrooms, or just to start use someone else’s.
