Smartest way to sponsor/advertise your game with 300k robux

Salutations! My name is Cole and I am a Roblox developer, I do building, UI designs, and spend the majority of my time trying out be ways to market my games. For the past few weeks, I have been saving up my Robux I’ve made from my group and I have 300k. My programmer and I have been working day in and day out working on a new, unique, roleplay game for the Roblox community!

I am trying to figure out the BEST way to gain as many players and attractions with this 300k. Normally, what I would do is evenly split it:
100k For Ipad
100k For Iphone
100k For PC
But I have been reading through other top developers suggestions and it seems like all of them are recommending different ways and things to do in order to gain the most players and revenue. Please, leave your recommendations on the best way you would market it below/ Help would be greatly appreciated!

However, 300k sounds like more than enough to get you on the front page for a certain time! Though I cry at myself for not having even 10k to advertise, try and do advertising and sponsor at the same time! I’ve heard this technique is beneficial in a lot of perspectives.

To add on with this, I personally think you should change the name. Because “Adopt Me!” covers this aspect quite clearly and has the word “Adopt” in its name aswell, so be careful how you advertise. Perhaps do a serve or just go small for the first few tries.

This is my first time posting something about anything like this!
Also, about the name :cityscape::sparkles: Adopt and Raise a Baby” I do realize this title is very similar to many other games of this sort but, if there is one thing I’ve learned from marketing here on Roblox, it is how important it is to have those good keywords and familiarity in the title of your games. I guarantee that one of the main reasons Piggy blew up is because kids recognized that the characters are from the show Peppa pig. If I end up being the first or second game when you search “Adopt and Raise” I will be able to bring in hundreds, if not thousands of players because so many people are searching it!

I am also thinking of just starting off small but my favorite part about releasing a game is just seeing it take off and do well, Big risk big rewarded kind of thing. In other words… I like going all in.

Why 300k even thats a bit of a large amount, max 50k on ads.

You think that spending 300k is way too much? A lot of people say that but, a lot of the time when I see developers trying to front page their game they always do 200-500k if they are able to. I am not sure if this is entirely true, just what I’ve seen.

Although I dont have any ideas for advertising, which is what you seem to be asking for, I recommend you make 3-10 different ads and spend 1k on them every day, alternating which ads you place bets on as you find out which ones are more effective.

I’ve seen to see a lot more developers sponsor their games and say its more effective for games targeting kids 13> . Which is indeed the audience I am targeting. I do understand for cafe/war/clothing groups ads are more beneficial.

Hey @RidinTheWaves , your project launch budget seems to be in an ideal place. I’d recommend rolling your game out a bit slow this opening week, run 10,000 on various AD’s and choose the one that has the highest CTR rate, once you’ve passed this week launch research period establish a launch plan on how much your going to be spending on a daily basis, remember you want your game to at least be self sustaining. 300k is way too much to advertise. A fair amount would probably 5-10k for each.

Here Is a idea.
Save some for further advertisement
If you have a team that is working on the game save some to pay them.
And there you have more robux saved.

Hello :wave: I don’t think you should advertise 300k in one day, instead do small advertisements first. (e.g 10k per device) You must see how your game’s performance goes to determine whether you have the green light to then place larger advertisements. I don’t want to see anyone make any losses, please use your resources carefully! Hope the best :+1:
