One will work and the other wont… How do I fix this apart from un-unioning then re-unioning, which I have already attempted but resulted in the issue reoccurring after I rejoined the place.

I am struggling to find the difference between the two images. Please provide a close-up of what exactly is wrong.
The top photo shows the overhead storage bin being low-poly. The second image shows only one overhead storage bin being smooth and he wants a fix for it.

Well if that’s the case, CTRL+D the smooth bin and align it onto the others.
