Snapping [Blender]

Hey, I’m creating a 3D Object that basically represents a baseboard

the main thing is complete, but I still need an edge piece, but I can’t figure out how I can create it.

Here is what the edge piece is looking like and what I want to be done with it is for it to come together in a clean way.

(don’t mind it being not aligned it’ll be fixed)

Any tips on how I can do this?

(I’m on blender 2.7 as I prefer it over other versions but I also have the newer version)

If you have used gapfill, you’ll understand this quickly:

Click the edges (in edit mode) and go to the other one (the ending destination/edge) and click it as well, make sure they’re selected.

Then, press f, it should create a face.

You can keep doing this until everything looks right.

If you want to adjust it even more, you can try adding subdivisions in the middle to make it more square/sharp.

There might be a better way but this is one I can think of currently.

I see what you mean but I’m having trouble understanding the select edges as it only allows me to select one; https://i.imgur.com/zOsvBUP.gif

Two methods:

  1. (not sure if this can be a thing but:)
try shift clicking both, then shift clicking the edges on both, might work, might not.

If it doesn’t work:
2.
Join them together, select both objects, and ctrl + j
Now they should be one mesh, now you can go into edit mode and put the faces in, and when you’re done and you only want to export the corner, delete the unnecessary faces.
