Sneak Peek on my New Game!

I’m making a third game, and I decided to give you guys a sneak peek of what I have so far.

Feedback, criticism, etc. are welcome, and I can take GIFs/photos for better viewing.

EDIT: Scroll down for more photos, and videos from @TheBasicNoobOfBasics with the whole build so far!

And yes, I am aware that it is bland- I am still working on the whole thing. I added the outdoor area and carpet to help with that.

Like it, I think what you should work on is adding some more designs and details :grinning:. The building seems sort of plain both exterior and interior. I also noticed the stairs are a bit wonky and some steps are longer then others. I do have a question, what sort of game will it be?

Thank you for the feedback.

  • This is the main location in my book/story.

  • I am going to add more detail, a door to the cafeteria (big room on the left), the basement, and the rest of the second floor soon.

  • The stairs are actually even- I changed their position the same amount each time. It might be because of the walls, or that I’ve never made this kind of build before.

EDIT: Or perspective.

I like your style of building, it’s really stylized. Apart from the plants the whole thing feels a bit too grey.

I would also suggest using different materials such as brick or wood for the house and different colors because the entire thing is made of the same colored concrete

The wall around the front door seems kind of empty… Maybe put a sign to fill up space and explain what the building is? Other than that, it looks great! Can you send us more photos after you’ve worked on it some more? I’d really like to see the complete version.

What type of game is it? And what is the building for?

I will add some more pictures soon. As for the sign part, I’ve got that covered, too.

This is mainly a test of my building skills. It’ll be for a showcase game.

Update to the cafeteria.

I’ll add kitchen appliances and a counter in the empty spot.

Ah, okay, I suggest you should put some lights in the rooms. In the lobby, you should put a person there like a receptionist or something. You can also put a few pictures, trash cans,
indoor plants there and other rooms too if you’d like.

It’s a good build and I hope I see some improvements. Good luck!

Is your building a school? If it is, you should add a “Lunch Lady” or something like that in the empty space by the tables. Keep up the good work, it’s turning out great!

Added a courtyard, and lights to the interior.

This just keeps getting better. I’m sure it will be a popular showcase. My only criticism now is that the path is a bit blocky. Try adding wedges to make it look more realistic.

RTRTC Sneak Peek 9

That looks way more realistic. I’ll check it out once it becomes public.

I just made it public after I took this picture!

This is the video I made if people want to see the whole thing.

Edit: Sorry it’s a download. I’m not sure how post a picture or a video like the pics above.

Edit 2: It was recommended that I include the exterior of the building in my vid, so here’s another download:

I don’t want to be harsh but the ground level can use some works like trees and such. But I like what you are going with this. I think that might help the build. I hope that this game goes well and I wish you have a nice day. Then again I don’t think i’m that great of a builder to be able to judge other people’s build, so don’t take my words to heart.
