Introduction
Greetings, shift guide user! First and foremost, thank you for hosting a shift or reviewing this helpful guide as it’s very crucial for your career here at Sno. Throughout this shift guide you’ll see the steps that you will need to complete during your training. Please follow these steps accordingly to have a fast and smooth session! Should you have any questions, please contact a Senior High ranking or follow the chain of command listed below.
- Chain of Command -
Head Supervisor > Head Snow Maker > Board of Directors > Associate President > Vice President > President > Associate Director > Assistant Director > Director
You should not be contacting any developers as they’re not associated with these type of sessions.
If an individual hasn’t replied in over an hour or 60 minutes, you may continue moving up the chain of command.
Starting a shift session
When starting a shift it is your job to announce thirty minutes prior to your session starting so this allows customers and staff to prepare themselves. A brief message will be given below on how to announce your training session(s).
- Setting up your shift session
Once it hits the fifteen minute countdown, join the Sno Restaurant/Cafe which can be found here and start setting up your Sno shift. Firstly, set a setmessage. Your setmessage can say anything but please keep it appropriate. Something you may use is: “Hello, and welcome to the (TIME) shift! Thank you for attending. We can’t wait to meet you all shortly!” And then, announce that your shift is ready to start using the command /shift as stated in the next heading. Lastly, teleport all of the staff to you and have them stand on the lines in the Staff Room for briefing. This is just for you in order to get a head count of who is all at your session.
- DISCORD shout:
Announcing a training in the Discord is fairly easy. In order to announce the training you’re to go to ⑅-shifts and run the command /shift. Once you run the command an announcement will be made from the Sno Administration bot and you’re all set!
- ROBLOX shout:
Announcing a training on ROBLOX is easy as well. In order to announce the training session you’re to go to the group page which can be found here. Once you’re on the group page you will then make a shout saying the following message:
| A shift is being held by (USERNAME) at (TIME)! Why not come on down and get some ice cream, we look forward to meeting you!
PLEASE BE SURE TO FILL IN THE BLANKS!
And just like that you’ve already set yourself up for success!
Please do not use these formats for any other groups outside of Sno.
