So, I was working on this recently

I have both of the builds below recorded as speed builds on Youtube!
To view them search me ‘e_ranov’ on Youtube and I should pop up as the first channel.

If you would like to see just the images view them here, below:

Its pretty nice and cool! It would be a lot more nicer if there would be a chimney.

Ah, yes.
I have a chimney on the basic house although I might of forgot to add one on the advanced one.
My brains fault.

Looks good! Have you started on an interior?

It’s alright, they both lack small details. I’d suggest adding more like mailbox, more vegetation, path, chimney etc. Maybe its the pic but the benches look too tall

Nope.
It was most like a background, but I may add some interiors.

Yes, the picture is a bit oofed, I checked the benches they are up to the characters near belt hight.
Thanks for your feedback.

Looks nice, I cant tell but if you haven’t already, you should put spotlights on the two lights in the front

Maybe add a pathway to the door in the houses would make it look cooler.

For the First Build

  • Make the benches a lighter color, they blend in with the building.
  • Move the benches away from the windows, someone sitting on it would block the window.
  • Make the windows more shiny, or reflective.
  • Have those little two lamps by the door give of just a little light, it’s the little details that really matter.

While this looks bland, it really sticks to the “theme” of the build!

For the Second Build

  • Don’t have bricks and wood together, make it one or the other.
  • The tall grass is repetitive. Make some of them scaled differently, and rotate some.
  • Like I suggested for the first build, make the windows more shiny and reflective.
  • Make the top of the front side white, as the rest of the building is mostly white.

This one does look more lively, I must say, but it looks like it doesn’t stick to the theme of it as much as the first build.

Pros

  • Great wood texture
  • Decent Scenery
    Cons
  • Bland
  • Abnormal grass. The grass is typically diverse, they simply can’t stand up straight at a perfect height.

I would recommend adding more details to the first build, the same goes with Build #2 & adding diversity to the grass. Other than that, nice build!

The only thing that bugs me about this build is the grass. What you can do to fix that is go into Explorer, click on Terrain and turn on Decoration, this gives more realistic and sleeker grass.

Could you perhaps take screenshots of different angles of the house at the moment it’s more focused on the front and one of the images aren’t showing the full building size?

From what I can see at the moment the building structure looks nice the material matches very well and it doesn’t seem overdone the only thing that I’ll improve is the door handle, it seems flat looking consider adding a part so it could look more like a pull door handle something similar to what screen doors have, I feel like you shouldn’t make the door and building have similar materials as it will blend in consider adding a lighter wooden material something like that could work.

I’d also recommend expanding the building by either adding other details or a chimney on top if there is one or different designs as what you normally see. Try adding decorations to it to attract the look your going for. It’s a pretty good start to a house, it just needs its final objects.

Overall the color scheme is great. It matches the scenery, could work on that skybox to give it some more depth to the house.

  • I’d suggest you should add a decent sized lantern at the front door instead of two little lights.
  • Those benches could use some work.
  • The grass really looks weird and could use some improvements.
Overall 8.5/10: Grass looks a bit odd but it kinda fits to the scenery. Front door could use some work especially those benches but it’s good!
