Social Links bar should allow integration of custom support portals (email, Zendesk, etc)

I’m part of the team working on Adopt Me, and the limits of the social bar make it incredibly hard for us to effectively communicate with and support our players.

Currently the social bar on game pages supports up to 3 links, of which they can link to the following options:

These options are great, and having them prominently displayed on game pages is extremely useful and helps developers better support their players.

The issue that we are currently running into is that we have created our own Support channel to help resolve player’s issues, and we want to make sure that this is discoverable for players. Players can contact our support team via Twitter or Email to get help with their purchases or other problems. However, currently we can’t link directly to our support from anywhere on the game page.

This severely limits our ability to help our players - if a player needs help, the best we can tell them is to go to Twitter, and hope they somehow find the support link from there. Many of our players end up contacting Roblox support, adding overhead for your support team when we’ve set up a dedicated team to deal with these requests. As more studios start to grow and professionalise, providing a clear and direct way for players to get the help they need from developers is important.

Social Links should support linking to, or integrating, an official Support channel on the game page, so players can get the help they need. These changes would make the experience of using the Roblox platform better for players, and allow developers to better communicate with and support their playerbases. It’s a step in the direction of making Roblox a platform where proper industry-level studios can be built.
