Events

Sodato is always trying to keep its community active and engaged in its activities and events, especially when it comes to its training sessions, shifts, and minigames, but what are they and how do these activities work at Sodato? As a way to help you gain a better understanding, there are descriptions and procedures of how training sessions, shifts, and minigames operate.

TRAINING SESSIONS

Training sessions are held throughout the day. This also allows LRs to become baristas, practice and improve their barista skills, and the opportunity to learn everything they will need to know when working behind the counter. Only those who are ranked Awaiting Training can attend a training session. A standard session will proceed as follows;

The host will announce a training session in our Discord server and Roblox group [-] minutes before commencing - this gives LRs enough time to join the training center. Once you arrive at the training center, you are to find a seat and wait patiently until the session starts. You also must be completely silent during this time unless you have a question. PTS (Permission to Speak) will be enabled, so you must state PTS to ask any questions you have, and a staff member will come over and assist you. PTS will become disabled a few minutes before the session starts and you must remain silent. You will be randomly placed in a group that you’ll be in for the remainder of the session; you cannot switch groups. Once the training session begins, the host will go over the rules and explain how the session will proceed; you must be attentive when the host does so. You will be teleported to your assigned group after the host is finished explaining.

From there, you will meet your trainer and they will go over some crucial information; you must pay attention during this portion as everything your trainer mentions will be beneficial and will help you achieve passing results. You will undergo a total of [-] stages; (), (), (), (), and () - all of which will be explained by your trainer. Additionally, you must obtain a certain number of points to pass depending on your rank.

POINTS NEEDED TO PASS:

Awaiting Training - 3

At the end of the session, your results will be determined by the number of points you’ve earned and how you approached each stage. If you pass, you will be promoted to the next rank and you will be given helpful tips that may be beneficial to your success at Sodato. You’ll have the opportunity to ask any final questions or concerns and then you will be dismissed. If you fail, please don’t feel discouraged, and remember that there’s always another opportunity for you to attend the next session to try again. You will be asked if you have any questions or concerns before you’re dismissed.

SHIFTS

As training is hosted at scheduled times, shifts are held at any time throughout the day at the main soda bar. An executive member, specifically General Manager+, will announce that a shift is happening in our Discord server and Roblox group. The duration of a shift lasts around 45 minutes, however, shifts do not have an official time. At shifts, the Recruitment and Human Resources departments are hard at work looking for potential management candidates.

MINIGAMES

Sometimes, minigames will take place during shifts and on special occasions. Each minigame will be explained so that everyone can understand how to play. You are more than welcome to participate as long as you play fairly and are supportive of your peers.

CONCLUSION

Thank you so much for taking the time to read through our handbook! If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, please redirect them to any Human Resources department member. We cannot wait to have you in our community, and we hope you have a good time.
