Solution for UI Acrylic?

Hi!

Right now it’s extremely painful to do any sort of UI Blur.

"oH wEll jUSt use a NeoN parT in a ViewpOrt!!"

I tried that. It looks like it’s just plain transparent.

I know that Roblox has shut it down in the past, but that was 2019. They “wanted to do it in the future, it would take too much time at the moment” in 2019, and it’s 2022, still nothing.

That’s not what this is about though.,

I’m looking for any possible way to do that without Roblox adding something right now.

I do know that decals for it exist, but they dont do that good of a job replicating it in my opinion

To make that effect you can just use UIGradient

Ohh nevermind ya I know what that is. It’d be cool if Roblox added a UI editor like that. Maybe post something in #feature-requests about it

I believe you can still submit feature requests via the Roblox Support page (Support - Roblox), I use it as well because I don’t have access to post in #feature-requests either.

Agreed. The only way to do this for now would be to use a photoshop software, or find a blurred image online, and upload that as an ImageLabel.

I know a free model in the toolbox that blurs the UI background and not the whole screen,
but in order to see the effect, you need to set your graphics quality in Roblox to 8 or higher.

I don’t know what’s the difference between blur and acrylic. :upside_down_face:
