Hello, so I have an Roleplay Game with a pretty big map and its halfly about flying, I use mesh water to make the ocean look endless, however I encountered a problem, when you go higher with plane, the mesh water will start to disappear and clip weirdly.
Here’s a photo of how it should look like.
this isn’t a bug its called render distance. Render distance is the distance that objects are being rendered, in your case your plane flew above the render distance of your character camera to the sea, which is why the sea is not visible. To increase the render distance you have to manually increase your in-game graphics quality.
I’m not sure either, here is an example of one game on roblox that use big mesh ocean and they fly at 700 altitude and the pilot can still see the water, while if I fly over 500 altitude the water is starting to glitch. Go to 2:05
My bad, I’ve find out how to increase rendering distance, in roblox studio you go to workspace and go to properties of workspace, in the properties of workspace scroll down to Streaming Section and simply edit StreamingTargetRadius to a higher amount, hope this helps everyone
I edited it from 1024 to 1536
