Hi, so recently I started using blender, and I made a model I want to export into roblox, a leaderboard. But for some reason, it doesn’t work. Here’s what I’m doing:
(I’m on a MacBook Air)
Edit: I added some screenshots

First, I select all of the parts with shift key.

Then, I click on FILE and click Export. I export it as an FBX File.

Afterwards, I rename it to leaderboard.fbx and click Export FBX.

Then, I open up roblox studio and click Import 3D.

Finally, I click on all the tabs, but nothing is there.

Does anyone know how to fix my issue?

Try .obj (Wavefront), that always works for me.

I don’t know why that worked but ok
For some reason it was in the same page as my applications

What made you do fbx? I guess it sounds close to rbx.

And I’m pretty sure every tutorial on the planet explains that studio only accepts .obj’s directly from blender?

ok, so in the model i split it into like 8 different parts.
When i exported it with Import 3d, it was only 1 part.
Do you know what happened?

cuz a youtuber told me to use fbx (i just started blender yesterday)

That part has to be done in blender I believe, but I’m not entirely sure, that’s a question for a different forum.

oh yeah i just remembered whenever i tried to export as an fbx this weird message would show up about some kind of python error whatever

I’m not a blender expert. I just make assets 1 by 1, so I guess I haven’t experienced that as an error before. Consider making a new forum post for that?

Ok so:
Exporting as FBX causes error
According to RoBuilder if you use FBX you can color multiple parts

Are you sure he said fbx and not rbx or rbxl?
