This is really an essential feature.
You click on a brick and you want the brick, not the model. The part fullname could be workspace.Model.Model.Model.Part, I don’t want to search through all that to get the part im pointing at.
Maybe you can press CTRL + LMB and you get the part itself?
It’s very annoying having to dig deep into models, looking for whatever part you are looking straight at.
Wow, I have just been placing decals on bricks I want to select, then double selecting the surface with the decal on it to find the part in the hierarchy.

Have fun continuing to do that, because if the object you alt clicked is more than 2 layers deep of hierarchies visible, it won’t show up in Explorer.
On the subject of things you may have missed, pressing F with an object highlighted adjusts your camera to it (sometimes)
Ctr + H in a script lets you find and replace text in your scripts, Shift + Ctr + F let’s you search through ALL scripts in your game
Ctr + L or something adjusts the axis your selection moves on when using the move tool (local and global axis)
This feature still needs some expansion though. Alt+Click selects the part in 3d space and explorer, however if the part is nested inside many models it’s not selected in the explorer window, only 3d space
What in the heck? How do so many people (including respectable veteran builders) not know about alt+click, and ctrl+L? I use these features a hundred times a day. It’s like not knowing ctrl+s quick-saves. I think it’s because ctrl+s is shown next to file->save in the menu, but alt+click and ctrl+L are hidden away in the help->customize shortcuts menu. I propose they are stickied to the home page when you open up studio.
File > Customize Shortcuts. There aren’t really any more worth noting except maybe Ctrl+I to quickly set focus to the Advanced Objects filter (i.e. you can press Ctrl+I, type in “fire”, press enter, and it will insert fire into the selected part without you having to move your mouse),
