[SOLVED] White Background Issue

WHAT AM I WANTING TO ACHIEVE?

I’m currently trying to achieve a place with a white background. I somehow managed to do it by making a box with the neon material. It ended up looking a bit similar.

THE Problem

I’ve been trying to add shadows to the objects inside the neon box, and I sadly failed.
I tried setting the material from Neon to SmoothPlastic, but at the end, it looked darker and you could see the shadows in the corners of the box. I’ve also tried enabling the “CastShadow” to the box, but doesn’t work too.

I’d be happy to hear what things can I do to fix it, or what alternatives can I use to make the white background.
(sorry if this is the wrong category)

Hmm, try putting a highlight on it and set the fillcolor to white and the fillcolortransparency to 0.

You might just want to manuelly make the shadow as a part or as something baked into the door’s texture. Since you cant have shadows when everything is illuminated with no difference in light levels.

I just remembered that I can just place a white decal, and set the Color3 values higher than 255, which just makes the decal glow.

this is an example (the smile faces are from a decal):

I’m sorry if I wasted some time, but thank you for the replies since each one made me learn something new.
