Hiya, I am in the planning stage of my game which is about a zombie apocalypse.
Basically sometimes the zombie can target the player that has the lowest health or if one zombie is on a player the zombie can call in the other zombies as a backup. I want to make a system that if this happens the player can release say a scent that makes all nearby zombies go to that player and by the pull of a string the player explodes killing all zombies.
Now is that allowed? Because, I am sure that is accounted in-to suicide bombing and well that’s probably not good lol. If it is not allowed then is there a way to say, make it allowed? By maybe changing the mechanic or age rating?
No, this is not a troll post. I don’t make troll posts. I hate troll posts and this is a genuine question I am asking.
I’m not sure, but if it’s a gameplay mechanic and you are blowing yourself up to kill zombies then I don’t think it would be any different than playing an apocalypse game and dropping a grenade to blow up zombies around you.
Just my 2 cents worth, but due to the cost of inflation it’s probably only worth about .2 cents…
I was referring to dropping a grenade purposely to kill zombies with the intent of blowing yourself up as well.
‘Just my 2 cents worth’ is a phrase meaning that it’s just my opinion but it’s not worth much.
The joke about inflation was just my attempt at humour meaning that my opinion is worth a lot less than 2 cents.
The grenade was just an example of what others may have in their game.
If they can have that ability for players to kill themselves (or jump off the baseplate, or any of a number of ways to kill your avatar) then I can’t see why your method would be an issue.
I’m pretty sure not allowing suicide bombings would be for self-harm and the harm of othe players as it might relate to real life cases where people have committed this crime.
