Some stuff I've made for my game

Hello its me again the railway addict.

So i’ve been building many American and Canadian rolling stock for my game, especially early locomotives (pre-World War 2 or pre-1989) that don’t exist anymore or have been scrapped before I was born. So I’d like to show them here.

Note: Some of these are works in progress of course and are unifinished or untextured at the moment. And some of these will be added into said game as of now or when they’re eventually completed (indicated with an asterisk), others shown here not so much

EMD GP7/GP9

Baldwin DRS-4-4-1500

*EMD SW1

Alco RS-27

*PRR E-6 “Atlantic” (4-4-2)
Fun fact: This is the first steam locomotive I’ve ever modelled, suprised it turned out well

*PRR GG1

GE 44-Ton Switcher

AAR Type A Switcher truck

AAR Type B Road truck

Alco 60-Ton Boxcab (CNJ #1000)
Fun fact: This was the first commercially sucessful diesel locomotive in the U.S

Some of these dont have horns or other things on them. Thats because really any horn can be fitted onto these locomotives (If they had any for their time), like these are modular in a way, you can customize them. Add any horn or any changeable object you want to them.

Also several changes and fixes will be made to this model as I review them just to make sure I did not miss anything or do something wrong or something doesnt seem accurate to how it is in real life.

Theres like 100+ more different locomotives (Not counting railcars or the several visual variants these can have, and rolling stock i’ve built, this is just a fraction of them. So I hope you like this, I would love some feedback on them too, especially if you’re a railway nerd like me hah.

However I HATED making some of these due to complex curvature like those “Bulldog nose” locoomtives, try and guess which ones I hated making.

And I can proudly say that these are HUGE improvements from the stuff I was making between 2021-2023 in which my trains were less detailed and less realistic looking.

So yeah thats about it, cya. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask them.

Indeed, 7.96GB worth of stuff. Total count of stuff ive made including unfinished and finished stuff is 132 trains, all made within the span of 2 months iirc. And that number is going to keep on counting (I may need to get an external storage drive so I dont fill my computer up lol)

im scared of blender so i cant fathom how you even did this

The only thing you will use in blender is ctrl r, Ctrl b, E, and shift A, S. (I don’t know if I missed any, this is the core stuff you need to know for blender to make like some models.)

Oh wow, This looks so good!
I think focusing on one thing and keeping at it is really cool.
Keep up the good work!

Once I tried making a flamethrower in blender and it looks like a crumpled piece of paper shaped into an airplane with a tree branch on top

Dont forget Ctrl + R when in Edit Mode, loop cuts are VERY important sometimes lol.

as a studio professional i have no idea how i move the camera

In blender to move the camera like you would in Studio, make sure you’re in object mode, navigate to “View” in the top left, hover down until you see “Navigation” and press “Walk Navigation” to cancel that, you just click.

Hope that helps

Bro’s a g,

132 full trains within 2 months is insane. I can barely get motivated to build a singular house in a month anymore.
