Hello, I have been using Logic Pro for a month or two now and have taken music mixing classes for two semesters. I revisited this website we used to find a song for our final (I mixed a classical piece) and decided to adventure back to it to find a cheesey-upbeat-sure-to-not-fail song.

My approach with this was to see if I could make it sound “musical”. I would love to hear any feedback with what could’ve been different/better!
Tbh, the mixed version uses way too much chorus(?), or what sounds like chorus. It sounds pretty accurate to what a musical number would sound like, but the mixed version just makes the sound more muddy. The unmixed version sounds a lot cleaner. However, you did get the right idea of increasing the vocal volume, don’t be afraid of making it more present, that’s the focus of the song anyway, especially in musicals.
