Congratulations on graduating from the Police Academy! :partying_face:

Now that you’re apart of Sora’s Police team, feel free to read some information that you will need to know for your job.

If you are not a member of the MET Police Force and wish to be, you can fill out the application.

Police Rules

  1. Don’t abuse your power as a police officer. This can include false arrests, false fines, etc.

  2. Don’t accepting bribes. Such as payment for a reduced sentence.

  3. When sentencing a player to prison, make sure to give them a fair duration. For example, do not give them 30 minutes for speeding, etc.

  4. You are only to use police sirens when necessary. For example, do not turn the sirens on just to run a red light.

  5. When you are not on call, you are not allowed to break the speed limit, or perhaps run red lights.

  6. Do not abuse your police position to any extent. For example, if you crash into someone, do not use your role to get out of paying the victim.

  7. Arresting someone who is AFK. Not only is this unfair, but the person also will not be able to justify themselves.

If you are caught violating any of these rules, you will be suspended from the police force depending on the severity of your actions.

Arresting Information

Now that you are a member of the Police Force, you will need to arrest criminals. You should only arrest people for valid reasons.

Valid reasons to arrest a citizen:

  • Robbing local shops, ATM’s, Bank’s, etc.

  • Player failing to pull over when you have your sirens on.

  • Evading arrest.

  • Reckless driving.

  • Carrying an unlicensed firearm.

Prison duration should be considered depending on the severity of the law been broken.

Fining Information

Since you are now a police officer, you will have the ability to fine people. You should only fine people for valid reasons.

Valid reasons to fine:

  • Speeding

  • Failing to follow police instructions (Minor Reasons)

The amount of the fine should be based on how much the citizen was breaking the law.
