As of today, I have noticed that Limited items no longer sort correctly when using the Price (High to Low) or Price (Low to High) sorts on the marketplace. The marketplace now sorts only items that were free on release by resale price, and all items that were published with a Robux price are now sorted by the original price instead of the resale price, even when the initial stock is sold out.
Navigate to the Roblox marketplace, in my case, this is on web.
Enable the Sales Type: Limited filter.
Select either the Price (High to Low) or Price (Low to High) sort. optional, filter by creator to more easily illustrate the issue, in my screenshot, I have filtered by the creator @Yourius
Note that the Limited items are not correctly sorted by the lowest resale price
Expected behavior
Limited items that are sold out of the initial stock should be sorted by the current lowest resale price rather than the original sale price when using the Price (Highest to Lowest) and Price (Lowest to Highest) sorts.
Hi, this issue is still present as of today, just seeing if there is an update given that Roblox has recently converted their own Limited items from the legacy 1.0 system to the newer 2.0 system UGC Limited items use, meaning all Limited items are now affected by this issue.
Hi @MagicAdaLuffy,
Thanks for finally acknowledging this-but waiting five months only to hear it won’t be fixed “in a soon time” feels pretty unacceptable. High-to-low sorting is a core marketplace functionality: without it, buyers and sellers are flying blind.
I’ve even tried catalog-viewing games that pull directly from the Roblox API, and the issue persists there too. That means there’s no reliable workaround other than third-party websites-and I shouldn’t have to leave Roblox for something this basic.
Can you please share:
1. What’s the actual blocker when you say “Bandwidth”?
2. Is there any way that I can use the marketplace like it is intended to for accessing Roblox-created limited accessories using the high-to-low sorting feature, until this is taken care of?
3. When will this core marketplace feature move off the back burner?
Looking forward to an update on this, thank you in advance!
