Sound previews does not account for volume, only pitch


  1. Create a sound.
  2. Give it this ID: rbxassetid://472971250
  3. Change the volume around and hit “Preview” each time.

I tested this on different PC too, and it still didn’t change.

Same here, didn’t change at all.

So apparently previews do not respect sound volume, which I didn’t realise. Will this become a thing though?

I’d edit the title and move it to Studio features(/bugs if previews do take into account Pitch already)

Changed the title. I don’t know if I should keep it under the bugs category, although it definitely doesn’t seem like optimal behaviour.


They both only work if they’re changed while the preview’s playing.
