I recently finished spaceships and fully procedural star generation in my game Space Engine. This is a step in the direction of replicating the whole Space Engine game on steam. The next planned update for Space Engine will be at the end of this week. The update will include planetary exploration and better star/planet generation. Some screenshots of the most recent update are included below.
