SpecialMesh Ball goes funky when unioned

Hey hey, fellow developers.

Haven’t been in Studio for a long long time, and when I finally booted it up and started building, boom, a bug that destroyed all my plans.

Here we have a perfectly normal cylinder with a perfectly normal SpecialMesh, separate parts. Everything looks good, but for obvious reasons, I want to union these bad boys.


Aaaaand here’s the result. The SpecialMesh ball randomly inflates when unioned, happens when I union it without other parts, too.

Maybe anybody got a quick fix, what should I do to not make this happen? Cheers


You could export both of them as an OBJ file then import it back on Roblox. It will be a mesh file. Might fix it.
