I end up typing up massive paragraphs and a lot of the time it gets filtered for having one or two things. Most of the time it’s not offensive or anything, so for it to underline what it detects as offensive would save a lot of hastle and grief

this is probably the same reason why they don’t show your hashtagged message if your message gets filtered
people would try and get pass the filter
for example if potato was filtered they would type something like “patato” to bypass it
People just end up saying “your message got hashtagged after x”
In the new code it says to skip sending the sender-player the message cuz they’re the ones that sent it. I’m thinking it was overlooked that you don’t see your hashtags.
Still very irritating though considering how many words are abled to get your entire post flagged. If I type 300 words and it filters it, it takes me 15 minutes just to find what they found bad, and 95% of the time it’s nothing needing of cencoring (or at least for people who don’t have hashtag text-filter)

This isn’t really a forum problem it’s more of the roblox amazing filter problem.
imo Roblox filter may be one of the worst updates on the website, like what’s the point of going on a social website where no one can say your username. I literally can’t do anything social on roblox becuase my username is censored (MunimR and Munim, like wtf?). I get PMS and in game chat that is like all or partially filtered because my username is censored. I probably should of posted this on the filter thread, but I’m a lurker and this thread just triggered me and I’d like to say there are tons of usernames that are censored by the amazing filter.
So PLEASE roblox fix the god damn filter.
