Speed Boost effect

Made a Speed Boost effect for my obby game. What are your thoughts(constructive criticism please)?

Also, do you know how to make the image high resolution(in studio it is noticeable)?

maybe increase the transparency of the blue a bit cause that could disorientate some people. Also I’d like to just step on the part or touch it instead of clicking it

Thanks, I’m gonna try it out. About the clicking, it is just to test the effect.

Hey! I really like the way you added something unique.

You should maybe change the transparency.

I like it, but I think it could more transparent because right now it looks very annoying to have covering up the screen that much.

This is unique and awesome! A couple of suggestions:

  • The blue arrows are kind of distracting right now. You should make it pass quicker, and make it more transparent in my opinion.
  • I think you should also have an effect on the duration of the running. For example, a decrease in the camera field of view, or maybe bloom/depth of field effect in lighting (in a local script so it is just for the player).
  • Finally (even though this is a bit off-topic), you might want to have different running and jumping animations if you haven’t done so already!

Good luck! I can see this will be a great interactive obby!

I won’t lie, the effect is pretty cool! The only thing I can say here, is that like others said, the blue arrows are too distracting, try having them run across the screen from the top and bottom.

Thanks a lot! I’ll try out those suggestions.

Decide to make the effect a little bit different because when I make the jump one, it doesn’t look very good. Does this look better or horrible?

I hate video uploading
