SpotLight not working in certain positions due to shadow

I have a spotlight in my part, and when I have it in certain spots, it works, but other spots it just disables itself, for no reason

Further testing has shown that the problem is due to the ‘Shadows’ property. When ticked, it does the above, but when unticked it works. This isn’t really a solution though, as it looks bad without shadows

Make sure your light emits from the right face.

The video shows that it is clearly emitting from the face that is facing the camera.

Okay, sorry didn’t see that. Maybe making the part invisible helps?

It’s a problem with how the voxel lighting is calculated, and there’s nothing you can do to fix it other than to turn off Shadows for the SpotLight.

I’m sure this will be fixed with the new “Future” lighting set to release either this year or next year.

I am in the process of checking over bug reports and following up on some bugs that haven’t received any activity in a while.
Is this issue still occurring or can you confirm that this bug has been resolved?
