There are no longer any placeholder trees around the map, while the foliage around the course isn’t done it is very close, as well as a few structures etc. I also added a change speed gamepass for 10R$, please let me know if you have any problems with it, as of now all testing has been successful but please know I am not a perfect coder haha. Let me know if you have any other feedback or suggestions, or problems.
Again thank you guys for all the support, if you want to help me out anymore there is the gamepass and donation shirts in the group. I don’t want to be a sellout but I really appreciate everything you guys have done for me, even if its just a like.
Thank you! I really dislike the roblox terrain for some reason, and this is how I am used to building things in general in studio and I think it looks pretty good.
that looks very very cool! although personally I feel like the grass being completely square is a bit strange looking, maybe have it look slightly more like a path? (like sometimes the side goes to one side by a bit sometimes the other side)
Thank you, I made it using a modular system as well so I can add new buttons very easily. The plan is to make a coin collection system, so you have to collect all the coins and collect a badge. one of my first projects I plan on completing.
As for how long it took, I started in may of 2022, have restarted once because I wanted it to be perfect. I took a lot of breaks in between because of college classes, but I have finally decided to get it done so I have something to show for all my years of development.
One of the main constructive criticisms of your Springob Hills are rocks. One thing to keep in mind is the scale. The big rocks have way more curves, details, and faces than the small rocks. Just keep in mind how they would look in the result while building. After that, go over all the flat surfaces. Add cracks and other small details. Now you don’t have to texture each rock, you could just throw on the material and make some changes to get the desired result for each rock. When you have all the rocks done, the material should fit perfectly within the environment, a material that let the rocks blend in nicely with the ground. With this, the material would connect perfectly with the other ground material. This is also why having a good rock is important: to get a good feel of the game you’re aiming for. Know how your game will make visits and how you will actually make visits.
Yeah I agree definitely. As of now I haven’t decided if I want to make the fairways rounded and look like an actual golf hole. But i think i agree with you, it just doesn’t fit. I probably will change that. Thanks for the input
