Stanley’s Plates of Doom

Will you survive Stanley’s mischief, or will you meet your untimely demise?

Stanley’s Plates of Doom is a game completely inspired by Plates of Fate by Spilled Noodles. Your main objective is to survive the many mischevious events that Stanley will throw at you.

You can earn points by playing a round long enough, basically by picking up special items which will be talked about later in the forum topic.

Wins can be earned by simply winning a round.

Section 1: Events

The game has various events. All of them will be described here within this post, so you get an idea of what most of the events do. Events start every 5 seconds after the previous event. After the countdown, all plates or players affected will be highlighted green.

:arrow_up: Plate Rise

A specific number of plates will rise up by 5 studs.

:arrow_down: Plate Lower

Similar to the event above, but does the exact opposite.

:sparkles: Item Drop

Various items will land onto the plates, which are as listed:

Show/Hide Items

forceFieldPotion Force Field Potion

When collected, the potion grants a temporary forcefield that will last 15 seconds.

healthPotion Health Potion

When collected, the potion will boost the player’s health up by 25.

chest Treasure Chest

When collected, the player will be rewarded an amount of 5 to 15 points.

:rocket: Missiles

Explosive missiles will fall onto the different plates throughout the arena.

Airstrike

:up: Gravity Coil

All players are given a gravity coil.

:dash: Speed Boost

Players are given a 30 second speed boost.

The width of a plate will grow by 10 studs wide.

:arrow_double_down: Plate Shrink

The width of a plate will shrink by 10 studs.

:question: Mystery Gift

A present will fall from the sky. It will grant the following random itemds when opened:

  • Sword
  • Gravity Coil
  • Stanley’s Sledgehammer

The present has a 1 in 50 chance to explode when opened instead of giving you an item.

:fire: Meteor Strike

Meteors will fall from the sky and will take away at least half of your health when within the blast radius.

Section 2: Arena Events

These events can occur randomly after a normal event (1 in 50 chance).

:boom: Nuke Rain

Black colored nukes will rain down onto random plates. Try to avoid them as much as possible. An instant kill is guaranteed if you’re in the blast radius.

:star: Gold Stars

Various Gold Stars will rain from the sky which will grant 10 points when picked up.
