Welcome to the official handbook for Starlight Cafe!
Starlight Cafe is a brand new modern cafe on Roblox, we strive to improve the roleplay and cafe experience on Roblox with features never seen before on Roblox.
We are always looking for people to join our ranks, to do so you can join our application centre more on that below.

This is a basic list of what we will explain in this document, we will go into detail for every topic.
Rules & Regulations
We will now be going on what you aren’t allowed to do in our group, not abiding by the below listed rules may result in moderation taken against you by our group moderation, NOT Roblox moderation**, if you see someone breaking Roblox TOS be sure to report them to Roblox first and then you will be able to report it to us.
Rules:
- Always follow Roblox Terms of Service
- Always be respectful to any member of the group no matter their rank
- No NSFW content
- Trolling is prohibited from a certain extent
- Abuse of your rank is NOT allowed
- Do not share confidential information
- All resources used by Starlight Cafe are our property and is not to be used anywhere else or copied as such
- Do not cause drama within our community
- English only, this is so everyone can understand what you are saying
- Minimum usage of privileges (Exempt to Ownership ranks)
- Exploiting or bug usage will result in a permanent ban from our games related to the group
Regulations:
- Always follow the chain of command
- Always report violations of the rules & regulations made by users
- Do not argue with moderators
- No disturbing sessions
- Do not disturb departments with their work
- Do not disturb staff when they are on duty
Moderation punishments:
Moderators and different departments can handout these punishments when it is deemed needed.
- Strike/Warning: Used to warn a member that their behavior is not tolerated and that it will result in moderative actions taken against them if they decide to continue their behavior.
- Demotion: If carried out your rank will be lowered, this can be due to various reasons.
- Termination: When carried out you may be terminated from the staff team or a department.
- Kick: When carried out you will be kicked from a experience but on most occasions you will be able to join back.
- Time ban: When carried out you will be temporarily be banned from the experience.
- Permanent ban: When carried out you will be permanently banned from the experience.
Appeals:
You can appeal most moderative actions taken against you unless stated otherwise.
Chain of Command
Here at Starlight Cafe we have a chain of command to ensure that you always get the best help at all times but that our higher ranked staff doesn’t have to answer every single question.
This will also be used as a ranking order, for example normal staff (LR) may be under supervision of a Staff Supervisor (MR).

How to join our ranks
You can simply join our ranks by doing a application in the application center which is linked down below by the important links category or you can choose to purchase a rank and receive a high rank without doing any application at all!

Staff Conduct
When working as a staff member for Starlight Cafe you are expected to be as professional as possible at all times along with some other rules of conduct that you are expected to follow at all times, these rules of conduct are listed below:
- Correct English
- Professionalism
- Follow the chain of command
- Communicate when needed
- Good activity
- Able to complete quota’s
The management team has full authorization to take action against you without a notice.
Promotion Guide
Who doesn’t like a promotion, as such you can be promoted within our group if you pass trainings or you are very active and complete your quota’s every week!
I will now explain the basic requirements to be eligible for a promotion, this does NOT mean that if you meet all these requirements you will be automatically promoted!
I will now go over the basic requirements for a promotion within LR, MR, HR, and SHR, Ownership Ranks will be excluded due to it being handpicked by the President and the Vice President.

MR Promotion Requirements:
- Professionalism

HR Promotion Requirements:
- Professionalism

- Leadership skills
SHR Promotion Requirements:
The requirements to become a SHR are not public information at this point in time due to most of these positions being handpicked by Ownership Ranks.
Sessions
Sessions may be hosted by MR+, these sessions are announced when they happen and they always happen via a schedule, some days and times there may not be sessions hosted, do not worry this is usual as some of our staff may be unavailable or there is a company wide inactivity notice for example during holidays these may last a day to 3 days.
During sessions you are not to disturb the session at all meaning you request permission to speak before asking a question to a trainer.
During a session there will be multiple rules for trainers and staff members who are associated with the session I will now go over them shortly:
- Host: Responsible for handling the entire training session and ensuring the training operations run smoothly.
- Co Host: Assists the host with monitoring staff and occasionally leading the training in absence of trainings.
- Overseer: Supervises the training and reports any unusual activity to the host.
They have the authority to override the host’s actions. - Ranker: This user is responsible for ranking all passed trainees at the end of the session.
- Trainer: The trainers are responsible for delivering information to the trainees.
- Assistant: These are helpers who assist the trainers in answering PTS, help during troll tests.
- Spectator: Spectators overview the training behind the hist and trainers in order to gain a solid understanding on training procedures.
It is recommended to join 10 minutes prior to the session start.
Once disconnected you will not be able to rejoin the session.
When attending you may be dismissed and you won’t pass the session and as such won’t be ranked, the host has all authority to dismiss you for any valid reason.
Departments
We have departments at Starlight Cafe, these departments are closed to the public and you can only join a department if you pass a application for said department, most information regarding departments is confidential and is not public information.
Some publicly know departments are:

- Public Relations
Human Resources:
The Human Resources department handle in-game moderation, game activity, overseeing staff in-game and promotions, demotions, strikes, and terminations.
Public Relations:
They are tasked with keeping the community engaged and host events.
Further information regarding departments is confidential and is not to be talked about.
