Starscape Changelog v4.3

This is the official changelog for Starscape Update 4.3 of the Pre-Beta testing phase: the Industry and Commerce update.

Features

  • Added four new Vendor-class ships which can be used to set up a storefront from your ship to sell items directly to other players
  • Added superior and pristine ore grades for Korrelite, Reknite, and Gellium which refine into greater quantities of mineral for each piece of ore
  • Added the ability to tag other players with a color which changes the appearance of their name and tracker icons as a way to visually distinguish players of interest
  • Expanded ship tiers so that most ships now have Mk I and Mk II variants

Changes

  • Made every ship craftable
  • Made tier II upgrades craftable
  • Added support for items to have multiple crafting recipes
  • Added two new craftable warp disruption bubbles with increased ranges
  • Audited all crafting recipes to make them more consistent with item prices
  • Halved the buy/sell prices of Korrelite, Reknite, and Gellium minerals and changed their base refine rate to two units per ore
  • Improved asteroid texture quality and mineral visibility
  • Changed spice prices in Core systems to properly reflect their distance from spice sources
  • Significantly rebalanced all combat ship speeds, damages, hitpoints, and rates of fire
  • Significantly rebalanced ore rarities
  • Added a notification to inform players if they are under attack while using the galaxy map
  • Altered the appearance of the Polaris and Luminar

Fixes

  • Fixed the rear wingtips of the Luster
  • Made an attempt at fixing abnormally low anomaly respawn rates
