Stop force scrolling to the end when selecting a piece of code

Every time i try to select a piece of a line of code, it forces me to all the way to the beginning or end of the line of code and is making it impossible for me to delete a small section for the line of code.


This is making it impossible for me to select anything inside of a really long line on code.

A way to improve this is:
If you scroll to the right, it scrolls slowly to the right and it goes faster depending on how far the mouse is to the right.

I think that it is scrolling left and right because you move your cursor onto different lines of code.

Yes it is, but it is quite easy to accidently go onto a different line when you need to scroll really far away.
