Story Games. How much quality should I add to the game?

Story games have come on Roblox, and have died down way too quickly. I love story games, but there are some problems that I have with them, like predictability and recycled plot structure and the people who settle down to copy and paste Camping which makes the Story Game community poisonous. Some Roblox story games don’t even have a story to tell and have zero effort added into a narrative of the story, but more into building and scripting and the flashy things. I want to make a high quality story game on Roblox because then for the people who actually pay attention to game narrative, but the younger audience that doesn’t care can still have fun. But then there becomes a problem. I could create a high quality story game that acts differently to other story games when it comes to structure (similar to how piggy is structured with parts and a story that doesn’t end right away) and adding a chapter system, or making a generic game that can get Robux so I can have professional builders for my game.

Which should I choose?
Thanks!

I don’t know, it depends what you want really. In my opinion I would suggest adding a unique new story game to Roblox, I am already striving to do this and I have a demo for one out now called Fallen Kingdoms. It was suppossed to be a new and unique story, but it stopped getting worked on. So, my advice if you do want to start working on a higher quality story game is: stick to the end. I know i didn’t but that project will hopefully get finished… eventually… I think… (Hopefully you see the problem) Thanks for reading.

To make a good story game you ideally need an original idea. The reason most people dislike these games is because some of them are blatant copies of other bigger story games.

Definitely stick with it, creating an original story game would be an amazing addition to the community.
