Strange "exploiting" bans

Handing out bans lightly more like not handing out bans at all. I reported this group of scammers multiple times. DMCA replies to me claiming that they would “investigate” the group. What ends up happening? The scammers are making new alt accounts and continuing their happy Roblox scamming legacy of stealing as much money from people on Roblox as they possibly can. If you guys really care about banning people who break your terms of service, you should consider eliminating the people who are taking money directly from your wallets. Thank you!

tabiaa's cosmetics - Roblox --This is the scam group which still has not been taken down. Every single role in this entire group except for the members role is a criminal who has engaged in fraud on your platform.

“You don’t get punished for a single detection” Really? The scammers I have reported multiple times have surely stolen who knows how many thousands of dollars from people… single detection? More like 100’s of detections completely ignored. I guess this is their way of saying that scamming is perfectly allowed on Roblox platform…

Byfron doesn’t handle scammers. I was talking about how Byfron doesn’t punish for single detections. If you are looking to criticize the moderators who actually handle this stuff I wouldn’t recommend doing it in this thread, since I’m pretty sure you won’t find any here.

I am not defending the scammers, but pointing out that you’re angry at the wrong people.

Just like we (as in the engine security team) have to justify every ban, which is relatively easy as we can rely on programmatic means of detecting cheaters rather than reports, other teams, such as the ones you reported to, have to make sure that a ban is justified too. Reporting is important, but it could also be a malicious report trying to get somebody banned for no reason. This is why verifying if a report was truthful is actually much harder than deriving a ban list from cheat detections.

I apologize to both you and binary for the way I came across as rude in my messages. I wasn’t in my best of moods when writing those messages and had let my impulses get the best of me. Thank you for being so understanding guys. I appreciate you

No problem at all, only people who care get passionate.

When will the phone situation get better? I already have seen people just flexing the fact they can cheat in a game I develop with their phone, its funny when exploiters record themselves doing nothing more than exploits that, asides from being patchable with one liners in my code, seem to be detected. The main issue right now is the fact that Mobile anticheat appears to be non-existant, and that complicates things, becuase integrating a good anticheat that is particularly performant on Clients when that client is a Phone is complicated, at least from my attempts…

@Bitdancer, my friend has asked for help regarding a moderation charge leveraged against their account. Like @chivalruos, my friend’s ban relates to loading server-sided scripts within his own game.

The server-sided script is an explorer which goes by the name of “Full-SS explorer”.

This is not a script that is maliciously inserted into experiences. It is made available by the experience owner with the scripts’ goal of loading server-sided, please reference the below video (Sound warning)

Based on the messages my friend received in response to their attempted appeals. We’re sure that the Appeals Department reckons that the server-side script is an inserted exploit, rather than a script made available by the experience owner. The way how Roblox Support works, outsourcing ticket inquiries to be handled by foreigners based in the Indian subcontinent. A lack of knowledge on the Support Agent’s part makes this conjecture probable, to say the least.

My main goal is to go about unbanning my friend’s account. Secondly, if there is a way to directly contact someone working in the Appeals department. Its tough corresponding with them via the support form as it seems they can only respond via means of approved answers written ahead of time by their superiors.

This could have easily been avoided though. If you were doing these things within your own experience, why would it be public? Why would you name the experience something that sounds like you have malicious intentions? These are the same questions I am sure Roblox Staff has
