In the past couple days I’ve noticed my game seems to be capping itself at a different framerate on the server side and it’s causing things on the server side of my game to run slowly. Not sure what the problem is. Most times I joined I’d get what you’d expect: 60 frames per second on the server, things being replicated 60 times a second, the likes. But sometimes, that time can randomly be cut down to 50 fps, 40 fps, even down to 30 fps. I thought it was something with my game but no matter what I changed it didnt seem to help. Then, I tried joining an empty baseplate a couple of times and saw the same problems as in my other game, even though there is nothing in the baseplate game other than a baseplate.
I have a screenshot of the baseplate with game logic running at 30 fps instead of the normal 60:
Normally the numbers in the steps per second category would hover around 60, like in this screenshot I got after rejoining:
I tried looking for people having the same problem here but with no results. I’m honestly not even sure what exactly to search for. If you know what’s going on, please let me know! This really impacts my game and I’d like to know if there’s a way to fix it.
