Strange studio error while saving data with datastore

I was just testing my game recently, and saw this error pop up multiple times on the console from Adonis and my admin system:

Data Store operations blocked while running on a Personal RCC to prevent possible data corruption

Note: I tried restarting Roblox studio and it didn’t help.

Is there a way to fix this?

simple remove adnois. I may be affecting you personal admin system.

Is the experience owned by a user or group? If a group, check permissions on your role. Ensure that “Studio access to API services” is checked on the experience’s configuration. Try running some Data Store functions directly (eg command bar or a dummy script) instead of through another system.

If all this is still failing you, try opening up a completely new game with a new place. If you’re still getting the issue, it could potentially be a Roblox issue because of the Open Cloud stuff they’re working on.

The experience I’m testing is user-owned and has api services enabled.

Adonis isn’t the root of this problem. It has to do with the studio itself.

I’m having this issue as well.

Note: I use ProfileService to manage my datastores & I don’t use Adonis. No clue what’s causing this.

im also using ProfileService and having this issue, seems to only happen in play mode, but works fine in test server and in regular place

This issue’s resurfaced for me starting sometime Friday. I can’t test my game within Studio due to DataStore errors now.

Im starting to get this error again… just randomly started without any changes to my datastore.

This issue seems to be back. It started happening for me around 2022-08-02T06:35:00Z.

However, one thing that I noticed is that it only happens to specific accounts.

Tested this on a group team-create enabled place.
This is me play-testing on my primary account (astra_wr : 185845822)

Additionally, changing the datastore name doesn’t make the issue any better.

Hopefully this issue can be resolved very soon, it is currently very difficult for me to test my games at all without having access to the DataStore.

I’ve been experiencing this issue since yesterday after updating studio. I tried reinstalling but no luck

I’ve just gotten this problem today, but only seems to be on a certain computer. Maybe your computer has something to do with it?

EDIT: It’s happening on both now.

EDIT2: I think I found the solution, it does this whenever there’s an update, try updating studio. It worked for me.

Hello, I also had this error, if you still have it, try to go to the studio, log out of your account and log in again. that should fix it

Updated studio fixed this for me.

For those who updated it and it doesn’t work, double check to see if it says “Update Available” at the top right. If it does, try updating it again and staying in the window it updates with.
