Streaming Enabled not working with terrain

I’m not sure if this is something on my part or is a engine bug, if it is I’ll post it there.

Basically, smooth terrain is rendering no matter where in the world despite streaming enabled being turned on. This is a huge issue because it makes low performance devices have to render giant chunks of land that they won’t see. Unless somethings changed in past few years I recall smooth terrain also functioned like parts when it came to streaming enabled.

I’ve tried tweaking settings, it’s had no help.


Then it’s clearly most probably an engine bug ._.
Add the tag and take it out of scripting support, pretty sure this isn’t a client sided issue.

Is there any follow up to this? It’s still a problem to this day.
