Over the past few days, we’ve noticed a significant increase in issues with StreamingEnabled in our experience.
Even players on high-end devices with fast and stable internet connections are experiencing extremely low render distances, with nearby parts of the map taking unusually long to load or constantly streaming in and out.
While this issue has occasionally occurred in the past, it has become significantly worse and much more frequent recently.
We haven’t pushed any updates or made any relevant changes to our experience during this period, so the sudden increase seems unrelated to changes on our end.
Expected behavior:
Players on capable devices with good internet connections should have a reasonable streaming distance, without nearby regions constantly unloading and reloading.
Actual behavior:
The streaming distance is extremely limited, even on high-end devices, and nearby regions frequently disappear or take a long time to load.
Hi, we are looking into this issue and need more information.
Which devices does this issue occur on? PC, Mac, Android, iOS, Console, etc.
Can you be more exact about when it started happening?
We see you published a few recent updates to place 2418863943, specifically versions 3631, 3632, 3637. Do these updates contain major changes to the map?
Thank you. We made some config changes on our end. Players may need to restart the Roblox app to see the effect. Can you confirm whether the low streaming distance issue is still happening on high-end devices?
