Stuck on Roblox Studio Loading screen

Hey, I’ve been stuck on Roblox studio’s loading screen for the past month. I tried everything I could:

  • Running compatibility mode on RobloxStudioBeta.exe (%localappdata%\Roblox\Versions\version)
  • Deleting every Roblox file and reinstalling Roblox Studio
  • Checking for non-updated drivers and windows being up-to-date
  • Cleared network cache
  • Opening studio from a .rbxl file
  • No issue seems to appear hardware wise.

I tried switching account but it won’t work. I’ve also noticed that Roblox Studio is crashing when opened. When resizing the window, nothing will go with it (it’ll stay at the same size). When trying to close Studio, it won’t work and I need to manually close it using Task Manager (Note: Roblox studio isn’t limited ressources wise and isn’t getting suspended)

I have the exact same issue! I’ve managed to launch it with the compatibility mode a few times, but I can’t seem to be able to do it again?

Can you please have a look if anything gets written to the log when you try to open Studio? It may give a clue as to the cause.

Logs can be found at %localappdata%/Roblox/logs

Revisiting this because my Roblox Studio still doesn’t load. Did you have any luck with fixing this?

Another user with a similar issue was able to fix it by deleting the (recent) folders found in %localappdata%/Roblox/Versions, then reinstalling Roblox Studio through the installer (downloaded from the website again).

Blushney said that he tried this already, and I didn’t see anything overly obvious in the logs, so I’m not really sure what else he can try (other than deleting the files again).

I did the same exact thing, it didn’t help me at all. Hopefully we find a solution soon. Thank you for replying.

I think I might have found the solution, are you using a symlink for Roblox? It seems like removing the symlink fixes the problem!
