The auto-recovery feature can be very helpful with making sure you don’t lose too much development progress should a crash occur. However, getting a notice about an auto-recovery file existing every time I launch studio gets pretty annoying.
This popup shows up even when I safely close studio and later come back. I understand I can press “delete” however I find it helpful sometimes going back to the auto-recovery file and looking through previously saved sessions.
The only other option right now to see auto-recovery is pretty much hidden deep in the File menu, File → Advanced → Open Auto Saves
Recovering files from a crash is super important so it’s understandable that it should be front and center, and not hidden in the file menu. Though having a popup that I may not use most of the time shows up every time I launch studio isn’t ideal.
So Why not put it here?
Having it be apart of this bar would allow it to be directly visible to developers and super easily accessible without being intrusive at all.
