So I was playing alone on studio a game I’m developing and I was just talking to myself in game and I realized there is no chat filter on I can say anything. Is this a new update? It’s just in the studio though not in game.

Nope. Studio has always had no chat filter. At least, as far as I can remember.
If you want to test filtering in your game, there is an API for that.

What is it? I’ve never heard of that. The text filtering apis don’t filter either in studio
Using Team Test does work though, as the server is running on a Roblox server instead of your own pc (which is why the filter doesn’t work, roblox doesn’t want people reverse engineering the filter)
Does this mean you cannot get banned for what you say in Roblox Studio? I need to test systems, so I really need to know this.

Haven’t done anything with filtering in a while, but I thought they did filter in Studio.

It seems Roblox does not have an Api for filtering in studio.
