Running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
Within 3 minutes of opening studio, no matter what I try to do, studio will cause a kernel panic that forces my computer to restart. Beyond having a place open, the crashes are not linked to anything I’m doing, and happen indefinitely even while idling on a blank baseplate. This has been happening since the previous version of studio.

Any word on this so far? Does the Mac version of Studio really have a computer-crashing glitch like this? It has been a week and I’ve tried everything, but Studio continues to cause kernel panics, making it completely unusable.
We’re working on a potential fix for this, and it’ll be out as soon as we can.

There should be a potential fix for this in the next release. I wasn’t able to repro your issue here, so if it’s still happening after the next update, let me know.
