Studio Corner Wedge Has a Darker side?

Greetings developers, hope you’re all doing well. Please do tell me if this is the wrong channel or anything.

I’m trying to finish the roof of a building I’m working on with corner wedges, however, when I add a shingles texture to it, one side becomes visibly darker than the other. This ruins the look of the roof.

The color of the corner wedge is set to the same color of super long wedges. Is there any way to adjust the darker side? Because changing the texture on that side changes the collor of the pattern, not the side.

For reference, here are 2 new corner wedges I just inserted, one without any modifications, and one with the texture on it. None of them have been set to SmoothPlastic, though the roof wedges have been set to SmoothPlastic.

Do any of you experience this? Thanks for any feedback!

Try using a mesh from the Toolbox! Just search for “corner wedge” and there should be a few that you can use instead of the basepart.

I tried a few. Couldn’t find one that worked.

This is because of the angle of the lighting/or a studio issue. I wouldn’t worry about it to much.

Though no matter where you are in the map, it looks the same, poorly lighted. I’ll try changing the light settings and will follow up if that doesn’t work.

Cheers!
