hello a error came up saying “roblox needs to quit we’re sorry” and I lost a ton of damn progress, roblox studio is so trash with this, it always crashes I swear, is there a way to get code back?

Unless there’s an autosave of your place in the folder on your PC then no. I recommend saving whenever you make major changes to your code or whenever you get the chance to.

Sorry to hear. AutoSaves are pretty unreliable for me as well. Good luck!
This is one of the reasons of why developers should use Rojo. With Rojo, all your codes and scripts are saved locally, not on the cloud. This means that when it crashes you don‘t loose everthing.

I’ve tried to get into using Rojo but I can’t find any good VScode themes that make the file explorer feel organized, so to speak, and also when people who don’t use Rojo make script edits they don’t update for me. I don’t think I’m closed minded enough to completely rule it out of my options for script editing as a programmer but there are definitely a couple of downsides.

This might help, Decrease the AutoRecovery Interval In Studio Settings, This way you have more of a chance of getting It saved, hopefully, this helps
