this bug kinda occured on me but roblox studio not froze is just “softlocked”

well my studio instead of crashing just softlocks, now i can’t revive it i had to terminate it(
same thing here, i have to constantly kill the process through task manager and restart studio to continue developing

happens to me.
stop a playtest = this.
viewing the logs shows that the crash is a sudden one, as it appears to have continuing logging, but then halts immediately when Studio crashes.
tried repo this with a copy of v666, the playtest stop works as expected.
tried it on another v667 copy i’ve downloaded, and it HAPPENS TOO!

If u didn’t tried this then turn off intel UHD somehow in the BIOS. Obviously I dont know if it will work.

I noticed in a lot of the images that people had a very long script(which disables some language features) I wonder if this is what causes it, since I also have this issue and I have a script long enough to cause that disabling language feature thing. --Unrelated as proven by the post under me.

I’ve had my game freeze like 30 times when I stop a playtest, pretty annoying.

i also have been freezing for ~10 sec after basically every test and have had 1-2 crashes, has been happening for maybe a week now. it hasn’t been nearly as bad for me as it is for most of the people here but there is a definite performance hit compared to earlier

I also have this problem where Roblox Studio sometimes crashes when I stop the Play Solo.
It looks like to happen more often when I use the search bar from the explorer before testing, but I don’t know if it’s linked.
Either way, it’s super annoying to always have to save/publish before playtesting to make sure nothing is lost.

This is happening to me as well now. Stopping the solo playtest freezes roblox studio for around 5 seconds. Can’t click or press anything during it, which includes saving the place unfortunately. Sometimes it freezes for forever forcing me to relaunch studio and making me lose progress…
I softlock EVERY single TIME I stop a solo playtest its really hard to work on my games! I Don’t know why it does this but its starting to get really annoying especially when I have to have another tab open just to open back up my game when it soft locks
