Initially, while testing MemoryStoreService to ensure my scripts work, I noticed that I cannot open two copies of Studio - at least not in a stable manner. I would open my start place in the universe and then open a second place; upon opening the second place, one of two things happens: either a failure to connect error appears, or it loads normally for a few minutes and then crashes both the first place and the second place instantly without warning.
I also noticed that I can’t actually play-test either world (even if I have only one copy of Studio open). The session opens to the default blue skybox, which my game certainly does not use; this indicates that the game itself simply is not loading. When I try to end the play-test, Studio buffers and then crashes.
Steps to reproduce
- Open two copies of Roblox Studio
- Wait, or start a play-test
Alternatively
- Open a copy of Roblox Studio
- Attempt to play-test
Expected behaviour
I expect the two copies of Studio to open and remain fully operational, and I expect play-testing to work. This is how Studio has behaved in the past.
