I am assuming that this feature isn’t already in studio, because I do see a “Find Results” window available in the VIEW tab which I have no idea what it’s for.
Anyway, lets say your project has grown to be over one hundred scripts and you use ModuleScripts heavily for code centralization. You realize one day that you need to add a parameter to a function you’ve called many times in many scripts. How can you find them all? You can open all hundred scripts and tediously search each one, probably still missing one that will wind up breaking in your game due to the missing parameter. Very frustrating.
The ability to search all scripts within a game should be a native feature to studio and would make life much easier. I know they have the RoFinder plugin available (and several spinoffs) but they haven’t worked in quite some time. Besides this seems too important to be a plugin; I’d rather it be made by Roblox engineers so I know it works when I need it.
We already have this functionality. Press Ctrl+Shift+F to search for something in all scripts, and it will populate the Find Results with those results.
Well, as a new suggestion then, in the normal CTRL + F find window, either add a FIND ALL tab (similar to Visual Studio) or at least put it somewhere in the ribbon menu so developers know it exists.
All I can say is “lol” and thank you very much.

There are so many features and functionalities to Studio (Most of which not everyone knows) there needs to be better ways to allow people to find this stuff. Having buttons around every corner is not the way to do it, but that’s part of the many issues a good designer has to face.
You mean global find and replace? On code just treated as plaintext? You’re playing a dangerous game there.
Unless you can go through each occurrence and verify it’s something you want to change. I find myself doing that on occasion, it’s not hard to do without though
I accidentally pressed Ctrl + F while I had a few parts selected in the game window (instead of pressing Ctrl + G) and it moved my camera closer towards the parts (also works on individual parts, multiple parts and multiple models afaik).
This is cool if you select a model in the explorer but it’s too far away to move your camera manually to get closer for detail.

I believe all you have to do is press F. No combo required.
I’m starting to think you guys have never read the Shortcuts list at all. (That being said, I have no idea how to access that list in the RibbonBar version of Studio)

I feel like the shortcuts list should be something that deserves a page on the wiki.

Not sure if this qualifies as a “list”, but it contains all the current shortcuts and ones you can set/change yourself.
