Studio doesn't export decals that aren't connected to invisible parts

A few people i work for use decals in their maps to add detail whilst maintaining good performance. Sadly these decals do not export unless they are on a visible part. If this could be fixed in the future that’d be awesome.

How are they rendering in the first place if they aren’t on a part? Are they images in a billboardgui or something? And if they aren’t rendering, why would you need them?

Forgive me for this, it turns out the decals are indeed connected to invisible parts. I’m too stupid to understand how studio works ><

aye just thought to revive this thread, this bug has been persistent for 7 years now with it only continuing to get worse and worse, any mesh from studio that has decals attached will refuse to export the decals and will instead default to a transparent material from whatever texture it exported last.
