- Describe the bug. Describe what is happening when the bug occurs. Describe what you would normally expect to occur.
In Studio Edit Mode, when a sound that has not just been inserted is selected and I attempt to scroll through the Properties window using free scrolling such as trackpad or Magic Mouse or if I select the SoundId portion, Studio will immediately freeze and stop responding. The longest I waited was about 15 minutes, and I realized it wasn’t going to respond, so force quit Studio.
- How often does the bug happen (Everytime/sometimes/rarely)? What are the steps that reproduce the bug? Please list them in very high detail. Provide simple example places that exhibit the bug and provide description of what you believe should be the behavior.
On Studio for Mac, this will happen every time a Sound that is anything other than a sound that has just been inserted is selected the Properties window is scrolled through using free scroll or the SoundId tab/section is selected.
- Where does the bug happen (www, gametest, etc) Is it level-specific? Is it game specific? Please post a link to the place that exhibits the issue.
It seems to be specific to the Studio application for Mac selecting Sounds which aren’t just inserted and using the Properties window and using free scroll such as mine on Magic Mouse or selecting the SoundId section.
- When did the bug start happening? If we can tie it to a specific release that helps us figure out what we broke.
It has been happening for more than a month, although I’m not sure the exact time it started since I wasn’t regularly active then.
- Anything else that you would want to know about the bug if it were your job to find and fix it.
The scrolling issue seems to be specific to smooth scrolling such as that on a trackpad or that on the Apple Magic Mouse.
