Studio Homescreen and Engine extreme performance issues

Today my Roblox Studio has been experiencing unbearable lag both on the homepage and within place files. This issue is only present within Roblox Studio itself. Games on Roblox perform as expected, as well as games aside from Roblox. I have tried disabling all my plugins and any beta features to see if one of them was the culprit however after doing so, I continue to experience the same performance issue. Monitoring my computer utilization also doesn’t around any suspicion regarding my hardware. The only lead I can get regarding my issue is within the Microprofiler, where the render thread is taking 33ms.

GPU: RTX 5080
RAM: 64gb DDR5 6000mhz
OS: W11

Disabling Nvidia Gsync fixed it!

Having the script editor open causes severe lag in Studio

Do you have a Gsync display by any chance? I’m not sure if I had the same microprofiler reading as you, but somehow I managed to fix my issue just now. All I did was change G-sync from “Enable for windowed and full screen mode” into “Enable for full screen mode” (In the Nvidia control panel) [image] I just remembered having similar performance issue years ago from the same setting.
